HealthSy Pharmacy is looking for a proactive and responsible Junior Store Pharmacist to support day-to-day pharmacy operations. The role involves assisting in accurate dispensing of medicines, managing inventory, supporting billing, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. The Junior Store Pharmacist will work closely with the Store Pharmacist to ensure smooth store functioning, high standards of customer service, and regulatory adherence.
Customer Assistance & Patient Support
Greet and assist customers, understand prescription requirements, and guide them appropriately
Support in dispensing medicines as per prescriptions under the supervision of the Store Pharmacist
Provide basic information on dosage and usage as per guidelines
Escalate prescription-related queries to the Store Pharmacist when required
Billing & Transactions
Support billing operations and ensure accurate invoicing of medicines and products
Verify prescription details before processing billing (where applicable)
Ensure proper documentation of sales transactions and sales returns.
Inventory Management
Assist in receiving, checking, labeling, and shelving pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical items
Monitor stock levels and inform the pharmacist about fast-moving items and low stock.
Ensure proper storage of medicines as per required conditions
Stock Replenishment & Control:
Regularly monitor shelf stock and ensure timely replenishment
Follow FIFO/FEFO practices for stock rotation
Support in minimizing stock loss and wastage
Expiry Monitoring:
Track expiry dates of medicines and ensure timely segregation of near-expiry and expired products
Assist in maintaining records related to expiry and purchase returns
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations, SOPs, and company policies
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, billing, and inventory
Support in internal audits and compliance checks
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, storage areas, and dispensing counters
Ensure proper handling of medicines or healthcare items to maintain quality standards
Delivery & Order Support:
Assist in packing medicines for home delivery ensuring accuracy
Coordinate with delivery staff as & when required and maintain proper records for retail & online door delivery
Ensure safe handling of medicines or healthcare items during dispatch
System & Data Management:
Update product details, stock entries, and pricing in the system under supervision
Ensure accuracy of system records related to inventory and sales
Customer Feedback & Issue Handling:
Address basic customer concerns and escalate issues to the Store Pharmacist
Ensure timely follow-up on complaints and queriesQualifications & Experience
B.Pharm / D.Pharm (Freshers can apply)
Valid/Applied for pharmacy license.
Internship or 0-1 year experience in pharmacy.
Basic knowledge of medicines and pharmacy operations.
Requirements
Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM
Location Flexibility: Open to being assigned or moved across store locations within city limits based on operational requirements
